婚約指輪を結婚指輪へ。Engagement ring → wedding ring.

学生時代の友人の結婚指輪をオーダーメイドしました。

旦那様のお母様から譲り受けた婚約指輪をリフォームするご依頼です。

ご希望を伺った上でご提案をして、何度もご相談を重ねてやっとデザインが決定。

しかし、ダイアのサイズに合わせてマーガレットにすると大ぶりなリングに…。

普段使いしやすいリングをご希望だったので、マーガレットにこだわらずリングのボリューム感を重視してデザインしました。

お揃い感を出すために葉っぱの彫りを入れ、その葉っぱの間隔にもこだわってサンプルを制作しました。

そして、メンズには奥様の誕生石のアクアマリンを一石さりげなく。

また、アンティークな雰囲気を強くご希望だったので、つや消し加工をして優しい印象にしました。

通常、艶消し加工は機械を使って施しますが、あえてガーネットサンドを使ったアナログな方法で施す事でより優しい風合いの艶消しになりました。

そして、完成したのがこちら。

とても喜んで頂けました！！

旦那様は、さっそく着けてお仕事に行かれたそうです。

こういう仕事は、本当にやりがいを感じるし、なにより楽しいですね！！

愛着が湧いて納品するのが惜しくなるほどです（笑）

I made a custom made wedding ring of a friend of my school days.

It is a request to renovate an engagement ring that they received from her husband's mother.

I heard their hopes and proposed design. We consulted over and over and the design was decided.

The motif is Margaret she loves.

However, designing according to the size of the diamond will be a big ring of volume.

She wanted an easy-to-use ring. So, we decided not to cling to Margaret. I redesigned with paying attention to the volume feeling of the ring. 

On the way, they confirmed the prototype.

I carved a pattern of leaves to give you a sense of uniformity, and also made the sample.

And I put her birthstone Aquamarine in the men 's ring.

Also, she strongly hoped for an antique atmosphere. So, I made a gentle impression with matte processing.

Usually, frosting machines use machines, but I did it in an old way. Matte a more gentle texture.

And finished! 

They were very pleased!

He went to work early with a ring.

I feel truly rewarding for such a request. And, really fun! !
